I can only assume that they're leaving to go somewhere and he's been waiting for her to finish getting ready for some time now. You know how Ahiru is about being on time

I was a bad girl and didn't hunt for a reference for the ground by Fakir and Charon's house, and opted for a cobble-stone sort of look. Also, the background is a little lame overall. T_T

Ahiru's outfit is completely made up, but Fakir's is inspired by the little number he's running around in for the second half of episode 8. ...I realized after the fact that she's probably not exactly period appropriate... grr. X_X There's a few small anachronisms in the series, but certainly not more than a handful. Shame on me! I will endeavor to work on that in the future.
